To help answer that question, I have compiled this list of 5 modules that are small, easy to build, and reliable. I have personally tested all of these modules and keep them in my collection. These modules use different lift mechanisms: Conveyor, Tipping Ramp, Ball Pump, Wheel, and Cardan Lift.
